So I've found something that gives me great glee: the Polar Cam at the San Diego Zoo.
I've only spotted one bear ambling around so far, but my continued semi-attention to the Polar Cam was totally worth it. He or she looked so big and snuggly. Give it a try; it's like being on a [very tame] wildlife expedition!
*note: the view from the Polar Cam isn't quite this good...but the image is LIVE, which makes up for the distance...and the lighting...and the general lack of polar bears. But if you really, seriously want to go on an expedition, try the pandas...it turns out they're a lot more active.
